What is the purpose of a Safety Plan? 

A Safety Plan is an agreement made to help keep your children safe. It’s created with support from Children and Young People Services and includes you as parents or carers, your children, your family, and others who help support you. Everyone works together to make a plan that keeps your children safe.

The plan provides a clear way on how everyone will work together to keep your children safe.

Every family is different, with their own strengths and challenges. That means each Safety Plan is unique and made to fit your family, building on what works well for you.

We will check the Safety Plan regularly to make sure it’s working well and keeping your children safe over time.
