The Youth Wellbeing Service offers targeted support for young people who have faced adverse childhood experiences which are significantly affecting their wellbeing.

The main focus is to support young people from ages 10 to 16 years in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The core aims of our support are to increase confidence, develop resilience and improve wellbeing.

We work in collaboration with other services and key partners to ensure young people reach their potential.

YMCA Young Carers

YMCA Young Carer’s Project offers group support for young people age 7 – 18, who have caring responsibilities.

This could be helping to care for a family member who lives with them. The family member could be experiencing difficulties with one or more of the following: disability, illness, mental health issues, drug and alcohol issues.

We offer activities such as arts and crafts, games, dance workshops, media workshops and school help. We offer a chance for young carers to meet others across the Vale.
